The Gear Keeper Wading Staff Tether (Model RT4-1072) keeps your wading staff securely fastened to your side, where it’s always ready to use, and always out of the way of your fishing line. Never again trip over your staff, get it caught around your legs, or watch it float away on the river’s currents.
At the core of the Gear Keeper Wading Staff Tether is the new RT4 Mini Gear Keeper featuring the exclusive Combo-Mount™ System. This clever design now gives you great options in a single unit, with both a Snap Clip and Threaded Stud Mount. The Snap Clip conveniently attaches to D-rings and loops, while the Threaded-Stud Mount easily attaches to web straps, pockets and belts.
A variety of mounting options
The Gear Keeper Wading Staff Tether can be attached to your waist. Either pin-mounted to a wader belt or snap-clipped to a vest, the wading staff is then attached to the unit’s lanyard, which ensures the staff isn’t lost or damaged. There is a generous cable extension of 30”, a hefty 9 oz. spring retraction force, and since the Gear Keeper Wading Staff Tether features a nylon-coated, stainless steel cable with a 60-lb. break strength, it is virtually indestructible against the toughest outdoor elements.
With its built-in flushing system, the Gear Keeper Wading Staff Tether can be easily cleared of sand and other debris when operated in water. It also features a Quick Connect-II System that permits the staff to be promptly disconnected from the Gear Keeper.
